Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment

The diagnosis can be used for:
– Applying for Ontario Autism Funding (OAP)
– Special accommodations at school
– Behavioural support strategies
– Communication strategies

Psychoeducational Assessment

Are you concerned that your child may be experiencing academic or behavioural challenges?

Some signs of challenges may include:

  • Low grades on report cards
  • Not achieving results at full potential
  • Feeling overwhelmed or anxious at school
  • Disruptive behaviour
  • Difficulty focusing in class

The root cause of these challenges may be an undiagnosed learning disability

A Psycho-educational Assessment is recommended for students who struggle academically. It analyzes reasoning, problem solving, attention span, memory, visual-motor integration, and executive functions including planning, organization and impulse control.

This assessment can identify and diagnose:

  • Learning Disability
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Intellectual Disability
  • Reading, Writing, Mathematics performance
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder
    and other mental health issues that can interfere with learning.


The a report and recommendations can be used for:

  • Diagnose attention deficit, learning, developmental, or psychological challenges
  • An action plan for improving academic performance
  • Special accommodations at school, college, and university

  • Apply for government-funded disability subsidies
  • Apply for academic equipment subsidies
